SPRINGFIELD, ILL. (AP) -- A big chunk of the Illinois capitol building has been damaged by a water leak.

A sprinkler line began leaking early this morning and damaged parts of three floors on the building's north side.

Some employees of the governor, comptroller and state Senate have been forced to relocate. The building's main entrance has been shut down, along with elevators in the area.

Officials don't have any estimate yet on the cost of the damage.

One concern is that the water may have set loose asbestos in old tiles and insulation.
