The students at Berrian School in Quincy are learning about the importance of doing good deeds.

The students collected pet food, blankets and other items to donate to the Quincy Humane Society.

The donation drive was a part of the school Kindness and Justice Challenge.

It's a program that teaches the kids the importance of giving back to their community.

The idea of making a donation to the Humane Society came from Mrs. Franks student teacher, who volunteers there.
