The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Fog will spread down the Mississippi Valley through the evening, eventually spreading back into Central Missouri and parts of West Central Illinois.
Widespread visibilities of 1/4 mile or less are expected.
Reduced visibility will cause potentially dangerous driving conditions. Remember to slow down and use caution, as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
