Hannibal police nab two in weekend drug investigation

HANNIBAL, MO. -- Two Hannibal residents are in jail after a weekend arrest on drug charges.

Rashonda McClure, 25, was arrested at a hotel in the 3600 block of McMasters Avenue on an active warrant from Marion County. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

David A. Maldonado, 24, was also cited for an open liquor violation. Police searched him and located several capsules of suspected heroin and a “large amount of marijuana,” according to the press release.

Maldonado was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and open liquor.

Maldonado was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pike County Jail.
