HANNIBAL, MO. -- The executive director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum in Hannibal is stepping down.

Cindy Lovell will take on the same role at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford Connecticut.

Lovell has served as the museum executive director in Hannibal for the past four and a half years.

She says she wants to continue the relationship that has developed between Hannibal and Hartford and hopes she's leaving the Hannibal museum better than when she arrived.

A going away reception is planned for February 23rd. It is open to the public, but you are asked to call the museum if you plan to attend.

Share your well-wishes for Cindy Lovell below.
