QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Park District has a park without a name and time is running out for you to cast your vote.
The pool of names was narrowed down to four final selections for the 12-acres of land along Quincy Bay adjoining the south end of All America Park. The land will be developed as a park and the building located on the property will be used as the Park District’s administrative offices.
The public sent in their nominations and the final four selections are:
- Lincoln Park
- Lincoln's Landing
- William H. Klingner park
- Bayview Park
Submit your final selection from the list by mail to: Quincy Park District, Attn: Park Name, 1310 Washington Street, Quincy, IL 62301
Or by email to: info@quincyparkdistrict.com, please include “Park Name” in the subject line.
All votes must be submitted by March 8, 2013.
