QUINCY, ILL. -- You probably noticed quite a jump in gas prices over the weekend.

Friday, many stations in Quincy jumped 35 to 40 cents to just under four dollars a gallon.

Other stations jumped to just $3.75 a gallon.

Refinery issues and gas and crude oil inventories are playing into the latest price hike.

So is a problem that a supplier had to shutdown a pipeline that carries crude from Canada to Chicago.

Analysts say the price hike should be temporary.
