FORT MADISON, IOWA -- Investigators determined that a November fire that destroyed a Fort Madison furniture store was intentionally set.

Kristopher Robin Murie, 32, is charged with setting the blaze. He faces up to 25 years in state prison if convicted.

Several fires remain under investigation in Fort Madison. Police haven't said whether Murie is considered a suspect in any of the other incidents.

Numerous agencies assisted in the investigation including the Fort Madison Fire Department, the Fort Madison Police Department, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Iowa State Fire Marshal and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
