Fire destroys home near Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, -- A wood-burning stove is being blamed for a fire that destroyed a home near Bowling Green Wednesday evening.

The fire occurred along Pike County Road 132 about five-miles north of Bowling Green.

Bowling Green Rural and Frankfort fire departments responded to the fire. The home is considered a total loss.

Two residents were home at the time the blaze started. No one was injured.
