As severe weather sweeps through the area, we have gotten reports of a tree on fire in the town square of Payson.

One viewer called in to say that she did see rotation in the clouds over Hannibal ... that is unconfirmed at this time.

So far the reports are of trees and limbs down and very heavy rain in Hannibal.  There are also reports of siding torn off of homes and billboards blown down along Hwy. 61.

Hannibal's post office sustained wind damage to the front doors.

Ping pong sized hail was seen at the Quincy Regional Airport.

Spotters report 50-60 MPH straighline winds in Marion County.

The roof of the Library in Barry, Illinois was blown off by high winds.
