The former Macomb postmaster faces several charges, including perjury, forgery and bigamy, after an investigation by the U-S Postal Service Office of Inspector General, and several agencies in McDonough County.

The Blandinsville police chief told KHQA this man, Josef Hernandez of Blandinsville, is accused of forging divorce documents and a New Mexico judge's signature on them, then using those documents in McDonough County to marry a woman and try to get custody of his children.

He also is accused of taking money from the post office while he worked there.
