Woman hit on north 5th Street in Quincy

QUINCY, ILL. -- Quincy police are looking for a dark colored vehicle involved in a hit and run accident on north 5th Street.

Officers say a woman was crossing the street shortly after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night when a vehicle headed south hit her.

Police say the vehicle continued south, then headed north near College.

The woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
