QUINCY, ILL. -- You might be looking for a Christmas present for your children ... Maybe they like to play outside on their ATVs in the spring and summer.

But one thing that's very important to have is a helmet. This Saturday Outdoor Power is hosting Safety Saturday.

The first 20 youth ATV riders who show proof of ATV ownership get a free helmet.

If you're thinking of getting your child a helmet for Christmas, just make sure you measure around your child's head.

Outdoor Power owner Jeff Waterman says, "A lot of the accidents we hear about, kids aren't wearing their helmets, they're riding on roads, riding double, things like that. The helmets the only thing we can provide to get them as safe as possible while they are riding."

All youth ATV owners who arrive after the twenty helmets are gone, will be placed on a list for notification as more free helmets become available.

Funds to pay for these helmets were raised through t-shirt sales during the Palmyra SuperCross event this past summer.
