JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon already has more than $500,000 on hand for a potential 2012 re-election campaign.

But several other statewide officials still owe money from their past elections.

Finance reports released yesterday show Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder owes more than $600,000 from last year's re-election campaign. About half of that is a loan from former Gov. Matt Blunt's campaign committee.

Newly elected Attorney General Chris Koster has more than $100,000 in debt.

State Auditor Susan Montee still owes about $500,000 from a personal loan she used to kick off her 2006 campaign.

New Treasurer Clint Zweifel is debt-free. His campaign committee reported a balance of $5,800.
