Warming centers around the Tri State area

QUINCY, IL -- With temperatures diving below zero on Wednesday and Thursday, there are some warming centers that are open for people who need to get out of the cold.

In Quincy, the Salvation Army says their homeless shelter at the Quincy University North Campus is open. People can call 217-222-2087 for more information.

In Hannibal, folks can call either the Hannibal Salvation Army or the American Red Cross if they need a place to stay overnight. The Army's number is 573-221-7072.

In Keokuk, people can go to the Heritage Center on Main Street until 4:00 pm and there is a shelter in Ft. Madison for people who need accomodations overnight.
