QUINCY, Ill. - All eyes are on the skies as plans continue for the Dogwood Festival parade in Quincy scheduled for Saturday morning.

If storms with lightning and other severe weather threaten Quincy Saturday morning, and organizers decide to delay the parade, you will see the announcement on KHQA-TV, on Twitter and here at www.connecttristates.com.

That announcement should happen at 7:30 a.m.

The parade likely would be delayed two hours.

That means parade units should line up at 10 a.m. and the parade would begin at 11:30 a.m.

If the weather still is potentially dangerous at 9:30 a.m., and organizers decide to cancel the parade, that announcement also will be made on KHQA-TV, on Twitter and on www.connecttristates.com.

The parade will not be rescheduled for Sunday.
