Assault and armed criminal action

HANNIBAL, MO. -- A Hannibal woman was arrested Wednesday, January 6th after allegedly cutting a man with a knife.

Officers with the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Bluebird Wednesday around 3:30 p.m.

Once on the scene, an 18 year old Hannibal man told officers 27 year old Andrea Shriver cut him with a knife causing a severe laceration to his arm.

The victim was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Shriver was taken to the Hannibal Police Department and later transferred to the Marion County Jail where she was placed on a 24 hour hold for Assault and Armed Criminal Action.
