Annual event always draws big crowds
It's a sure sign that spring has arrived in Quincy.
QUINCY, ILL. --
Hundreds of people lined Maine street Saturday morning for the annual Dogwood Parade.
Every year many businesses, organizations and church groups show off their community pride and float making skills.
The parade is just one of the highlights of the annual Dogwood Festival whose theme is "Magnifying Community for 40 Years."
Our own KHQA team got their yearly workout walking in the parade and tossing candy to the waiting kids along the route.
