Quincy man arrested on multiple drug charges

QUINCY, ILL. -- The West Central Illinois Task Force arrested a Quincy man on Monday for multiple drug charges.

James Milsap was arrested Monday afternoon after reportedly delivering cocaine to a task force informant in an alley near 14th and Broadway.

Milsap had also made other deliveries of cocaine and marijuana over the past several months.

At the time of his arrest officers found marked currency, cocaine and cannabis on him.

He was taken to the Adams County Jail.

Milsap's arrest was part of a joint effort between the Task Force, the Adams County Sheriff's department, the Illinois State Police and the Quincy Police Department.

James Milsap is charged with the following:

3 counts of delivery of cocaine, 1 count of delivery of cannabis (30-500 grams), 1 count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and 1 count of possession with intent to deliver cannabis (10-30 grams)
