QUINCY, ILL. -- The highlight of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce meeting is always the induction of the Business Hall of Fame.

The meeting was Wednesday afternoon, and the inductees are Brad Billings with Blessing Health System, the late Arthur Lindsay with Quincy Newspapers, and the late Walter Rothschild with Lee Enterprises.

Rothschild helped start WTAD and KHQA Television.

In all there are 26 inductees into the hall of fame.

The organization has only been doing this the last few years.

"The business community we have today is not an accident. There were great business leaders all through history that have laid the foundation for the business community we have today. That's why that's so important to remember those stories so the next generation are inspired to greatness as well," says Amy Looten.

Nominations for next year's inductees can be turned into the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce between now and July 31st.
