The McDonough County Voice reported that a mobile home in Colchester was completely destroyed by fire and another next door was damaged as the fire spread.

Monday night fire crews arrived on the scene of the fire on U.S. Route 136 shortly after 6 p.m.

Trailer #10 was fully engulfed upon their arrival, but responders were able to save the second trailer.

Colchester Fire Chief Tim Smith told The McDonough County Voice's Nathan Woodside that two people lived in the home that was destroyed and one person lived in the second damaged trailer.
