QUINCY, ILL. -- It's time to start the 14th season of the Historic Quincy Business District's Blues in the District Concert Series.

Residents from around the Tri-States will gather in Quincy's Washington Park to watch performances by local musicians ... for free!  The first of which is Grady Champion, the 2010 International Blues Challenge winner on Friday, June 10.

Remember, this year the Blues in the District concerts will feature new hours ... from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

In the case of severe weather, the June 10 concert will be moved to Johnny Bang Bangs on the Quincy Riverfront.

KHQA's Rajah Maples will be downtown enjoying the sights and sounds Friday night, so check this story later and watch KHQA's Evening News at 6 p.m. and KHQA's Late News at 10 p.m. if you weren't able to make it out to the fun event yourself!
