Quincy residents are enjoying a new place to walk today.

The Quincy Park District opened its newest trail Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of South 12th street and Cherry Lane.

The 12 hundred feet long trail spur runs across Curtis Creek.

Officials say it was a priority due the unsafe walking conditions in this popular walking area.
