HANNIBAL, MO. -- The Hannibal Board of Public Works is excited for this next week ahead.

It's celebrating the positive aspects of a municipality and customer appreciation as part of its Utilities Week.

Staff have events for the public scheduled every day this week including tomorrow's big truck show on the middle school parking lot.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, you can tour the water and waste water treatment plants, but Thursday will be the big event for a family fun night. Staff will be on hand from 4 to 7 p.m. in Central Park handing out prizes and participating in drawings and giveaways. The public is invited to stay for a barbeque.
