Friday crash blamed on snowy roads

BUSHNELL, ILL. -- A Macomb teenager died Friday night after a car crashed into a grain bin near Bushnell.

Passenger Remington Neeley, 14, died after the car, being driven northbound on 2000E, lost control due to the snow. The car became airborne, left the roadway and struck a grain bin.

The driver Kasarah Riden, 17, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with major injuries.

Both occupants were trapped in the vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters.
