HANNIBAL, MO. -- Good news for folks along the Mississippi river.
The National Weather Service is out with its Spring Flood Predictions that look pretty dry ... with probabilities of reaching flood stage at 20 to 30 percent below an average spring.
While this is good news, Marion County Emergency Management Director John Hart says we can't get too comfortable just yet.
Hark said, "Monitoring everything basically from here to Minnesota, you know a little snow melt is a little snow melt and a lot of snow melt can make a big difference down here. Remember that their winter is not over till we are into our spring here. So, again things always tend to change so we are going to just go with the flow, if you will pardon the pun, of whatever we have to do."
