A large portion of land line users in Northeast Missouri were without service Friday due to a major line break near Moscow Mills.
Customers of CenturyLink began experiencing disruptions at about 1:30 p.m. Friday due to the break.
Company Spokesman Greg Gaffke said that it's not clear how many counties and customers are affected.
Outages have been reported as far north as Lewis County. A Lewis County 911 official said service returned there about 3:10 p.m.
Gaffke confirmed about 3:25 p.m. that service to all areas was restored.
