Smoke from an attic window gets Quincy house fire noticed

QUINCY, ILL. -- Investigators were called to the scene of a two-alarm house fire in Quincy.

The Quincy Fire Department was called to a home at 6th and Monroe in Quincy at approximately 11:36 Monday morning.

Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning said he believes the fire started on the second floor.

Smoke was seen coming from the attic window of the two story house.

No one was home at the time of the fire.
