Video poker machines are being turned on in some Tri-State bars and restaurants.

The manager of the Barry Travel Plaza said that their machine is expected to go live next week.

The state approved video gambling in 2009 to help fund a thirty one billion dollar construction program to fix schools, roads and other transportation projects.
