The first African-American to found a town in this country will be remembered at the Lincoln presidential library.
That man was "Free Frank" McWhorter.
And he founded the town of New Philadelphia in Pike County, Illinois in 1836.
On Thursday Feb. 28, his great-great-grandchildren will go to Springfield to donate a bust of "Free Frank" and research materials in his memory to the library.
