"The Big Bang" coming back to Quincy

Will benefit Alzheimer's Association
"The Big Bang" fundraiser
QUINCY, ILLINOIS -- Tickets are now available for "The Big Bang," a St. Louis Dueling Piano show offering music, comedy and audience participation, to be held Friday, Jan. 30 at BackWaters Nightclub, Front and Hampshire in Quincy.
Doors will open at 7:00 p.m.; the program begins at 8:00 p.m.
This year marks the fifth year the Quincy Area Branch Alzheimer's Association is hosting the fast-paced, high-energy sing along show as a fundraiser.
Proceeds will be used to provide educational and support services to area residents who are dealing with Alzheimer's disease.
The duo, Sam Leatherwood and Mike Sonderegger, are two of several musicians who perform at the The Big Bang Piano Bar at Laclede's Landing in St. Louis, Missouri. The two musicians use no sheet music, play personal requests and interact with the crowd.
Corporate sponsors are BackWaters Nightclub, and Comcast.
Tickets are $25 per person.
To purchase tickets in advance, contact the Alzheimer's Association at 228-1111, or stop by the office at the Quincy Family Senior and Resource Center, 639 York Street, Room 200, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily.
Tickets also can be purchased at Coffee on Broadway, 2831 Broadway.
A limited number of tickets are available and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reserved tables have been sold out.
