The Crossing church opens church thrift store

Will benefit communities in Tri-State area

Macomb, IL-- With employment hard to find for many, some people are turning to local thrift stores for their fashion needs.

The Crossing church in Macomb opened its thrift store, it's right next to the church at 1600 West Jackson Street.

It's open Monday through Saturday, from 10am to 6pm. The store has everything from women's, men's and children's clothing, to books, furniture and electronics.

Money raised from the store will benefit communities in surrounding areas of the Crossing churches.

The church plans to open a thrift store in Quincy this May. The Crossing in Kriksville, Missouri plans to to open a store soon.
