Quincy police still are investigating a case that ended with the death of a Quincy man early Tuesday morning, but evidence so far shows no charges likely will be filed.

Randy Jones, 52,  of Quincy apparently was involved in some kind of physical altercation near 20th and Cedar in Quincy late Monday night.

He died a short time later at Blessing Hospital.

Official autopsy results aren't in yet.

Lieutenant Jason Simmons with QPD told us all evidence will be forwarded to Adams County State's Attorney Jon Barnard in the next several days.
