QUINCY, ILL. -- The following information was received from the city of Quincy:

A scheduled water service interruption will occur on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 beginning at 6:30 a.m. to noon for customers in the following areas in order to make repairs on a water main:

4th Street (Hampshire-Broadway)
Hampshire Street (4th-5th)
Vermont Street (3rd-4th)

Once service has been restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
