One person was taken to the hospital late Wednesday afternoon after getting burned in a fire.

The call came in shortly after 3:00 to an auto rehab shop at Jefferson and Gardener Expressway.

KHQA spoke to fire chief Joe Henning late Wednesday afternoon.

He told us crews are still on the scene investigating, but he knows the fires started in a car, and was contained in that area.

The fire was put out in a matter of minutes, but left a lot of smoke.
