QUINCY, ILL. -- Some Quincy homes and businesses will have their water shut off on Monday, August 3.

The city plans to interrupted water service on 5th Street from Broadway to Oak Street beginning at 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will relocate a fire hydrant in that area.

Once water service is turned on, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
