HANNIBAL, MO. -- Here's a note for drivers in Northeast Missouri as you head out to work on Tuesday.

Weather permitting, Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be working on the shoulders of the westbound exit ramp on Interstate 72 at Hannibal.

The ramp, which leads to the Harrison Hill/Mark Twain Avenue Intersection, will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so you can expect minor delays.

Crews also plan to remove fallen rock from the southbound shoulder area on Route 79 just south of Hannibal.

They'll be working near the rock bluff just north of Continental Cement. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it beings.

Drivers are encouraged to check MoDOT'S map for new work zones at www.modot.org. You also can call MoDOT'S customer service center at 1-888-275-6636.
