PITTSFIELD, IL -- A judge rather than a jury will oversee the trial of an Ameren CIPS worker accused of animal cruelty.
Lori Kellum is accused of beating and killing a cocker spaniel dog owned by a Kinderhook resident during her rounds in July 2008.
Her jury trial was postponed several times, at the request of her attorney.
The latest trial was to begin Wednesday. Now that a judge will preside, the trial has been moved to March 26th.
