QUINCY, ILL. -- The following is a press release from David M. Kent, Director of Utilities for the City of Quincy, Illinois:

A scheduled water service interruption will occur on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Anne Avenue from St. Charles Drive to Klondike Road and Maria Court in order to replace a defective leaking tee located at 1019 Anne Avenue.

Once service has been restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
