Lottery lovers have some new games to play on both sides of the river.

In the largest lottery agreement in U.S. history, the Powerball and Mega Millions games have partnered to create the largest market ever for jackpot games.

Traditionally Powerball has only been offered in Missouri and Iowa...while Mega Millions was an Illinois game.

Now as of this month both games can be played on both sides of the river.

We visited with Patty Grimes, the store director at the County Market Express at 36th and State in Quincy.

She says she's seen a lot of people coming in to buy their big Power Ball ticket in Illinois, instead of crossing the river.

Grimes said, "We're selling tickets we normally sell but we're also suggesting they buy a powerball ticket and a couple of our customers have said, "Thank you, now I don't have to go across the bridge anymore."

We also went across the river to Missouri, where folks now have a chance to play Mega Millions without crossing the river.

Folks there tell us offering Mega Millions in Missouri and Iowa now, increases the jackpot faster, because there are more folks playing.

Dorothy Hines, County Market Express Store Director in West Quincy said, "On January 31, we started selling Mega Millions tickets to join with Illinois. They have a drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays and Powerball is on Wednesdays and Saturdays so this way you're offering a different game four days a week instead of two days a week."

By the way, the first Illinois Powerball Jackpot is up to $115 million. Check Wednesday's numbers here: http://www.powerball.com/powerball/pb_numbers.asp
