QUINCY, ILL. -- It's pretty cold outside, so who could imagine swimming in the middle of winter.

Not too cold for these guys and gals who took the plunge for the first annual Winter Challenge.  About 26 people swam laps at Sheridan Swim Club in Quincy to test their speed and stamina.

It was part of a fundraiser to support Big Brother's Big Sisters.  The club raised more than $500.

By the way, a first place trophy was given to the strongest swimmer.

That title went to 15-year-old Catherine Don.
