EAST ST. LOUIS, ILL. (AP) -- A southwestern Illinois man who authorities say plotted to deal more than 220 pounds of marijuana has pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing the drug.

Thirty-three-year-old Terez Browning of Fairview Heights entered the plea Tuesday in a federal courtroom in East St. Louis to conspiring to possess marijuana with plans to distribute it.

Browning faces up to 20 years in prison and as much as $2 million in fines when he's sentenced June 4.
