CHICAGO, ILL. (AP) -- A federal judge in Chicago has granted a request by three media organizations for immediate access to a key document outlining the government's evidence against former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Judge James Zagel granted the request by the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times and The Associated Press in a one-sentence order posted on the court docket.

Defense attorneys had objected to the release of the document, which is known as a Santiago proffer. They contend it is inaccurate and gives a one-sided picture of the Blagojevich case.

Blagojevich is charged with scheming to sell President Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat and illegally pressuring campaign donors. He's denied any wrongdoing.
