QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy man is in the Adams County jail today after Quincy police were led to an active meth lab overnight on the city's north side.

The suspect now faces several drug charges along with obstruction of justice and unlawful restraint.

An anonymous tip led police to the house at 22-11 Spruce.

Police say they tried to get into the garage but Tim Gustison wouldn't open the door.

He also refused to allow a 19 year old woman to exit the garage.

Gustison began to burn the meth making material before police were able to get inside and make the arrest.

The woman was unhurt following the incident.
