QUINCY, ILL. -- The following is a press release from the office of David M. Kent, Director of Utilities, City of Quincy, Illinois:

A scheduled water interruption will occur on Hampshire Street from 5th to 6th on Tuesday, June 22nd for the removal of a gate valve located at 513 Hampshire St. between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Once service has been restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
