HANNIBAL, MO. -- Now that the Fourth of July holiday is over, families are gearing up for kids to head back to school.

Which means plenty of shopping and searching for everything they need to succeed in the classroom.

Have no worries though, F.A.C.T. has your back.

The Hannibal organization Families and Communities Together will be hosting its Third Annual Back to School Health Fair on August 7th.

It is expecting 1,500 kids to come by and get those much needed school supplies.

And your help is needed to make sure they get them.

"Right now, what we need, we need monetary donations or donations of school supplies so we can stuff our backpacks. We've promised every kid who comes through a backpack full of school supplies, that includes glue sticks, glue, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, notebooks, folders, whatever we can get for them," said Assitant Director Ginny Webb.

The Back to School Health fair will also offer health, dental, hearing and vision checks for students.

It will be held August 7th from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Mabee Sports Complex on the campus of Hannibal LaGrange College.
