Gardner Park getting new playground

QUINCY, ILL. -- Gardner Park in Quincy will soon be getting a facelift.

The Quincy Park District asked for the public's input several month ago on ideas and suggestions for the park.

They are replacing the current playground system.

Three proposals have been selected and the public will get to see the designs and comment on them Tuesday night.

The public is invited look at the designs Tuesday night at 6:30 at the Gardner Park shelter house.

The playground should up completed by October.
