EMERSON, MO. -- A semi tractor trailer carrying hogs crashed on Route M in Marion County near Emerson.

The tractor trailer dropped a tire off the edge of the road.

The driver over corrected and the rig flipped onto its side.

Several hogs were killed in the accident.

The driver was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
