Protecting seniors from scams and con artists

QUINCY, ILL. -- Attorney General Lisa Madigan will host an important consumer education program Thursday in Quincy.
As part of her continuing effort to provide information and resources to help protect seniors financially during these tough economic times, Attorney General Madigan will host her Silver Beat consumer education program beginning at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Silver Beat is a consumer education program that Attorney General Madigan created to help educate seniors to ensure that they have the knowledge necessary to protect themselves from con artists and deceptive practices.
The Quincy event will be Attorney General Madigan’s 15th Silver Beat presentation held statewide.
