Man robs Ottumwa Iowa credit union

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The following is a news release from the Ottumwa, Iowa Police Department:
On Monday August 9, 2010 at approximately 9:46 a.m., the Ottumwa Police Department received a report of a robbery at Community First Credit Union located at 235 Richmond Avenue in Ottumwa. Investigating officers determined that a white male between the ages of 17 and 35, had entered the credit union and demanded money. The male then left the credit union on foot in the direction of Church Street. The last known location of the suspect was in the area near the rear of Loktronics Security Corporation located in the 900 block of Church Street. The suspect may have fled the area between the lagoons and businesses located along Church Street.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who is described as follows:
White, Male, age 17 to 35, height 5’4” to 5’8”, sandy blonde/brown hair, either clean shaven or with a faint goatee, wearing a white short sleeve button up shirt, gray dress pants, dark colored tie, glasses, and a white baseball type hat with a Jagermeister logo.
